| The
most common problems people experience with bread machines
relate to yeast and flour quality and accurate measurement
of flour and liquid quantities.
Having
good results is dependent on a consistent balance of
ingredients. Cheese, for instance, melts into liquids
while baking - so a recipe with cheese generally needs
less water/liquid. Adding raisins to create a fruity
loaf is great fun, but remember that raisins are concentrated
sugar sources and the yeast will have more to feed on
and the bread will rise more. So reduce the sugar and/or
yeast content to compensate.
